Composite Machining

Unlike many machine shops, we pride ourselves on our ability to machine composites, ceramics and other non standard materials. People tend to avoid machining CFRP due to the abrasive nature of the materials and the strain it puts on the machine. We depreciate the machines over a shorter period of time to compensate for this. We keep the carbon machines separate from the metallic/wet machines having extraction in the carbon shop to keep the dust under control .
